BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for projects, support, and optimization of fleet systems and processes throughout SDLC, including Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Execution and Innovation.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the implementation and improvement projects for the business areas supported
  • Understand integration points between fleet systems and SAP-ECC, external vendors and other business systems
  • Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better solutions
  • Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements
  • Work with business leads to prioritize work list
  • Clearly communicate project and break-fix status to business leads, manager, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze and document as-is and to-be processes and systems
  • Discover process gaps
  • Derive improvement potential for business areas supported
  • Provide input to establishing process performance measurements related to the supported business systems and processes, including measurements for new solutions to determine successful implementation and drive optimization
  • Contribute to and support a best practice process management approach for Business and IT
  • Provide expertise in change management, process management and project management
  • Contribute to the development of process standards and the evaluation of tools as needed
  • Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews
  • Understand and ensure that quality standards are met
  • Serve as an advisor in business systems and process-oriented solutions, leveraging working knowledge of the business areas supported
  • Coordinate the work of others to ensure solution delivery
  • Create and execute test plans and scripts in support of solution delivery
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years directly related experience in an analyst capacity, designing and implementing IT solutions on various platforms preferred
    • 2+ years managing projects
    • Experience with analysis and maintenance of customized and complex SAP pricing systems, specifically designing and configuring pricing solutions within Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
    • Experience in the analysis and maintenance of customized and complex SAP pricing systems, specifically designing and configuring pricing solutions within the Vistex module
    • Experience in working with file and data transmission methods including File Transmission Protocol (FTP/SFTP), EDI, API, and others
    • Understanding of the integration points between the SD module and other SAP modules (FI-CO, MM, Customer Master, etc.)
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

 

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of various IT solutions, patterns and architecture
    • Experience in or integrating to SAP ECC 6.0 preferred
    • Knowledge of application design and integration and workflow/process automation
    • Strong Problem assessment/analytical skills/critical thinking
    • Capable of thinking of the big picture while sorting through details
    • Ability to be flexible in an ambiguous environment
    • Ability to work within resource and time constraints
    • Ability to manage 200+ emails per day
    • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of tools, including: Office, Visio, Excel, Project
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
