BASIC PURPOSE: The SAP Integration Developer will be responsible for the development and support of enterprise-class applications. This position  works across multiple teams within the IT organization including: BATL (Business Aligned Team Leads), Application Development (ABAP, Mendix etc.,), Infrastructure, BASIS, project managers and senior management.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the functional & technical teams to collect overall integration requirements.
  • Develop and configure PI/PO repository and configuration objects and unit test.
  • Develop integration iFlows in CPI following naming standards and best practices.
  • Support different phases of testing, cut over activities, go-live, hyper care and production support
  • Troubleshoot issues using various tools, provide root cause analysis for defects and fix issues.
  • Work with cross functional teams on various projects and production issues.
  • Continuously improve own skill sets including but not limited to technology, business knowledge, project management and communication.
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business with MIS or technology related degree (C.S.)
  • Experience
    • 1+ years of integration developer experience in any platform or technology preferred
    • Any software development background a plus
    • SAP PI/PO or CPI development experience is a plus
    • Solid knowledge of different message formats (flat files, xml, json etc.,) and technical protocols SFTP, SOAP, REST, HTTPS, JDBC, AS2 and JMS etc.,
    • Familiarity with REST services and oData a plus.
    • Experience in Software development methodologies and lifecycles
    • Familiarity  and knowledge in SAP with the following modules a plus: ECC, HCM, FI, AP, AR, GL, SD, MM, WM
    • Experience with any cloud platforms a plus.

  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
