*This position offers a hybrid work schedule (2 workdays can be remote/work from home and 3 workdays in-office). This is optional, and the employee in this role can work fully in-office if preferred.*

BASIC PURPOSE: The Information Security Project Manager will work with Love’s Information Security management and staff to build and maintain a complete Information Security program, as well as maintaining regulatory compliance with HIPAA and PCI.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop project's key objectives, scope, success criteria and communicate them effectively across the project team 
• Assist in defining the architecture of security programs and projects using a technical information security background
• Liaise across functions; interface with leadership and functional teams to provide transparency of project health 
• Manage all aspects of complex projects for the respective lines of business from inception through delivery 
• Plan, schedule, and track project deliverables and milestones 
• Perform risk & impact analysis of competing models using probability/quantitative risk analyses 
• Proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered. 
• Use metrics to improve processes 
• Work effectively with other IT teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed 
• Other duties assigned as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, math, business or equivalent experience
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or other technical security certification desired
  • PMP certification a plus
• Experience:
  • 4-6 years of demonstrable experience managing IT security projects to completion
  • PCI and HIPAA experience desired

      SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Proficient knowledge of IT project management, related software and IT Security
  • Basic knowledge of databases, systems integration, database design, SQL, and data reporting structures
  • Ability to report to and work with all layers of the business
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
