BASIC PURPOSE: The role of the Factoring Inside Sales Intern is to support the operational needs of the Factoring Inside Sales team, while gaining adequate and applicable knowledge for future use. This role provides support in soliciting sales by calling businesses. They will assist with and gain understanding of Love’s Financial Factoring Solutions company and its services and utilize various systems and platforms.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with contacting businesses via telephone in order to solicit factoring sales.
• Support cold calls, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities.
• Obtain prospect interest through effective presentation of financial products, pricing, benefits and bundling of products. 
• Assist Factoring team to help customers better utilize the online software that allows them to manage their fleet fueling and billing accounts.
• Resolve problems by researching and working with other departments and vendors under the guidance of the Factoring leadership.
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year university program (preparation for Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Sales, Marketing, or other business related major).
• Experience:
  • Excellent customer service and active listening skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Demonstrated experience working well in a close team environment

  • Ability to work with multiple departments and customers in stressful situations
  • High attention to detail, with follow through to completion of tasks

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
